How To Find Us...
You can find Wild Harvest School in the rural outskirts of York, the the East. Sadly too rural for public transport.
We have a small free car park and encourage car share where possible. We do have a bike shed!
From the South
A1/M - M18 then take the M62 in the direction of Hull. Exit at Howden. Follow the B1228 towards York, we are on the B1228.
From the North
Come down either the A1 or the A19 towards York, then follow signs for the A64, on the A64 exit in the direction of Hull, but immediately turn off for Elvington and follow the rural villages road (B1228) until you get to Wild Harvest School.
From the West
The M62 is the fastest road East from the West (turn off at Howden and follow the B1228 to us).
Or the A64 from Leeds in the direction of Scarborough (exit the A64 at the Hull Road exit in the direction of Hull but turn immediately towards Elvington, as above).
From The East
Take either the A166 or the A1079 heading East to West and before you get to York aim for Pocklington. We are six miles from Pocklington.

Di From Wild Harvest Teaching BBC Countryfile Presenters....
A few years back we were invited to teach Adam Henson and Ellie Henderson from BBC's popular Countryfile program about rural affairs. Beeswax and Willow Crafts were the topics for the demos. Such a lovely day.
"How To Live a Self-Sufficient Life"
For this interview about self-sufficiency craft skills we were invited to London and put up in a hotel for a short stint on BBC Sunday Morning Live! I even got to teach the presenter a bit of basket weaving and told her how to make the simplest skin care products from her kitchen.
