🦇 A Wickedly Wild Halloween at Wild Harvest
For 2026, Halloween falls on a Saturday—which means it’s time for the adults to share in the fun!
On Saturday 31st October 2026, Journey to the Rural Outskirts of York...
Leave the crowded town behind and join us at the Wild Harvest Tipi Site for a uniquely atmospheric, nature-based All Hallows' Eve. Arrive in the mid-afternoon as the autumn shadows lengthen, and stay with us deep into the fire-lit evening. Come dressed as your inner witch, or simply wear something ghoul!
The Experience
- Nature’s Poisons Walk: Before the sun sets, we’ll take a fascinating stroll to discover the dark folklore and deadly chemistry of wild plants hiding in plain sight all around us.
- The Witchcrafts: Gather around the fire and step up to our rustic apothecary bars to create your own earth magic to take home:
- The 'Love Spell' Tea Bar: Scoop and blend romantic, warming botanicals—like deep red hibiscus and dried rose petals—into your own natural cloth tea bags.
- The Magic Potions Bar: Craft a luxurious, bespoke bath and body oil. Using a base of rich, almost black pumpkin seed oil, you'll blend enchanting essential oils into tiny apothecary bottles, then add pretty labels.
- Make Blood Red Earth Candles. Then light them to enjoy into the evening. Dance around them if you dare.
Â
(Note: Craft options on the evening may vary slightly depending on the availability of natural resources).
Feast & Fire
Eat, drink, and mingle as the night draws in. We’ll be serving a bubbling pot of green witch's soup over the open fire, alongside hot, comforting baked potatoes fresh from our wood-fired oven. Bring a bottle of your favourite poison, or sample some of our special alcohol-free drinks of the night.
Fly Home... Or Stay the Night
You can fly home into the darkness, or make a whole weekend of it by booking our optional cosy, rustic accommodation:
- 3 Traditional Tipis (Sleeps 2-4 guests each)
- The Pink Door Hut (Sleeps 1-2 guests)
Early Bird Tickets are Just £75 Per Person.

Established and Reliable
Established and Reliable
We have been around since 2006, one of the longest serving sustainable education businesses. We deliberately don't apply for grants so that we know we can keep teaching into tomorrow. Book us and we will be there. Proven track record of 100% turn up rate.
Affordable
Affordable
We believe this education should be accessible and aim to price to cover our costs and pay our taxes but also be affordable to you. Sustainable education should not be an elite subject but should be accessible to all. We are not grant funded though so please don't expect us to compete with free temporary initiatives using public money.
Sustainable
Sustainable
Since 2006 eco principles have been at the heart of what we do. It's not a new marketing angle for us; our courses are based upon the original values and lifestyle of our founder who has long lived a life of sustainability and self-reliance.

Why Choose Wild Harvest?
-
Long Established
We have stood the test of time. Established in 2006 we are nearly 20 years old! We have survived pandemics and recessions and are still here. Read our reviews as testimony to how hard we work to keep you happy! Others have come and gone but we are still strong through our professionalism, quality of service for the price, and resilience.
-
Support Female-Led Independent Small Business.
Wild Harvest was set up by a single mum of three... slowly building a business around her children, without any help. No grants, no Daddy's purse strings - just hard work and dedication and determination to provide affordable sustainable education.
-
Reliable - Book Us and We WILL Be There!
Over all our time we have not cancelled a single session. If we commit to being there we will be there. I cringe when I see other teaching businesses cancel for personal reasons regularly letting people down and I truly believe in honouring your booking with my effort to get us there.
