Join Di at Wild Harvest School, in the rural outskirts of York for a private booking BASKET WEAVING DAY.
Voucher entitles two guests for a personal one to one craft workshop where full attention can be given to teaching you. You will learn how to select and prepare willow for weaving; do two different weaves, make the base, insert the uprights, weave the walls then add a fancy border.
Buy your ticket then email us on hello@wildharvest.org to choose your day when you are ready.
Courses take place inside our cosy cabin, or outside if it's sunny.

Why not add on a Wild Food Walk at the end of the day and take your new baskets out for a Forage? Use your new willow baskets as you wander our pretty canal learning all about the wealth of edible plants growing wild around us.

We have been around since 2006, one of the longest serving sustainable education businesses. We deliberately don't apply for grants so that we know we can keep teaching into tomorrow. Book us and we will be there. Proven track record of 100% turn up rate.

We believe this education should be accessible and aim to price to cover our costs and pay our taxes but also be affordable to you. Sustainable education should not be an elite subject but should be accessible to all. We are not grant funded though so please don't expect us to compete with free temporary initiatives using public money.

Where are you based?
We are based in the rural outskirts of York, 12 miles from the city, but we.do work all over. If you are coming here for your glamping, activities or walks/course then we can be found on Google maps HERE
Can I Bring My Dog?
To the wild food walks yes, well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. To the tipi site... Sorry we love animals but we. have a free range sheep, hens and an old labrador. Plus we have a policy of no animals in the units to keep them feeling fresh and ok for allergy sufferers. We are down the road from Storwood Kennels if you need pet boarding.
What if I Can't Make It?
We know you wouldn't want us to cancel on you and hope that you see we book tutors, organise resources and block time out for bookings so we allow you to sell your space on, or gift it to a friend. Or we can offer you online courses and ebooks instead.

If you want to book us to come to you...Our radius for attended walks, courses and activities bookings is approximately from Newcastle in the North to Nottingham in the South, Hull in the East to Manchester in the West. if in doubt just ask in the chat box or enquiry form.
