Your loved ones will have full use of our natural instinctive archery kit comprising of wooden full-sized recurve bows, leather gloves and arm guards, straw targets plus rubber animal targets for that authentic experience! Then under the expert tuition of one of our four Archery GB trained tutors they will learn:
- How to stand
- How to hold the bow
- How to load the arrows
- How to draw, aim and shoot.
There are three rounds to this session. First is the introduction round, secondlly your guests get tips for improving aim in the second 'improvement round'. Finally in the third round it gets competitive with our fun competition round of arrows.
Every guest gets a portrait photo of them at full draw plus we take a family group photo at the end... all sent by email to remember their day by.
This fab, fun session is suitable for all ages and all abilities.
After the archery session they can sit and have a picnic at the tipi site sitting either on the picnic benches over looking the fields or around the covered fire circle keeping cosy.

We have been teaching Instinctive Archery for ten years at Wild Harvest School, York and are members of Archery GB. We have four Archery GB trained tutors. Over the years we have taught archery to thousands of guests via Hen & Stag, family, team sessions. The archery session can take place from Sunday afternoon to Friday morning. We can also do Saturdays between October and March.
