I loved the foraging walk, learning about foods we can find on our doorstep! Di shared ideas for how to prepare and eat the plants we were shown today, as well as some interesting medicinal uses too. It was inspiring and fascinating! Di has an engaging way of communicating to the group of all ages. As well as being able to see and feel the plants on our walk, I also enjoyed Di's descriptions and stories to bring to life and convey information about the plant, their historical uses and identifying characteristics - this added context, humour and insight. There are plants i come across all the time that I will now be viewing through different eyes. I feel more confident to make use of the edible parts and know I'm doing something beneficial for my health too.
Such a fun, engaging workshop! We absolutely loved our session with Caroline and would recommend this to anyone wanting to do something chilled but super fun together. Made my hen do super special xx
Hi Mandy, we're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the workshop with Caroline. Thank you for your lovely review and recommendation! Best wishes from Wild Harvest School. Happy wedding day soon!
The whole experience was easy peasy! From booking the site and the activities. Diane was extremely helpful with any queries I had. The weekend itself was fantastic, from start to finish. I wish I could give more than five stars!
Thank you, Helen, for your wonderful feedback! We're delighted you had a fantastic weekend with us. What a fun game that looks in the pics haha. Di x
I really enjoyed the day we learnt a lot about Sunflowers and how they can be eaten, not just the seeds. Always a full, fun packed day at Wild Harvest.
