Fire Steel Necklace

Finally! A practical necklace for anyone interested in being self-reliant in lighting a fire; anytime you need. Check out this fire-striker on a necklace and know you can get warm even if you are caught out with no fire-lighting kit.

How to Use A Fire-Steel Necklace?

This black paracord-mounted fire-steel necklace is in two parts. Simply loosen the necklace to slide off the cylindrical part, (or even just slide it up the cord away from the circle) Then with your tinder fluffed-up ready, strike the cylindrical shaped striker across the ferro circle several times to get a spark.

There is no need to remove the circle from the paracord.

Let the sparks fall onto your flash tinder, cup it loosely to let air get through while gently blowing or leave it on the ground and blow. Once the tinder is alight, be ready quickly with very thin dry sticks, no thicker than a pencil.

How To Buy Our Fire-Steel Necklace?

Choose either delivery or collection.

'Collection' is great if you are booking onto a Wild Harvest Course walk or course, we can bring it to you, or you can get it when you are here.  Just add which course you are on at check-out and we will put your necklace by for you.

'Delivery' Choose this option if you would like your necklace posted out in letter mail. Please add your full postal address in the box at checkout. We use Royal Mail standard letter post.

Do I Choose Collection or Delivery?

If you are coming to us, for glamping or activities, a foraging walk or day course or if you have booked us to come to you then choose 'collection'. If you want your products posting out to your home address, then choose 'delivery'. Add your address at checkout in the notes section.

Do You Do Other Products?

We are planning on adding more physical eco products to our store with the emphasis on USEABLE AND NATURAL MATERIALS where possible. Products that are useful and made from natural materials.

How Do I know which sized t-shirt to get?

We have added the manufacturers size chart and a drawing showing where the sizes refer to for each of the two options we stock: Medium and Large. Sadly we are not big enough to stock lots of tshirts in all sizes so we opted to list the two middle choices.

If you need a bigger or smaller one, we can order you this, we may just need to add on any single t-shirt surcharge and package we incur.

What If I Need To Return My Product?

As our product collection is designed for picking up and first using while you are with us, if there are any problems over the time you are here, simply tell us and we can swap it over for a new one.

Once you get home, in the rare situation something goes wrong (we choose quality brands to ensure longevity of each item for sustainability reasons).

Package it up and post it back to us, we will either send a new one out or refund you to the card you paid. If someone else bought an item on your behalf you can either get them to accept the refund and transfer it over OR we can give you store credit to the value of the item OR refund you by BACS.
