Looking for a Foraging Course in York?
Join Wild Harvest School on this two and a half hour Wild Food Foraging walk in the beautiful city of York to learn about the wealth of edible plants that grow all around you.
Understand the benefits of learning to forage but most importantly discover the cautions. We give you a four step process to avoid identification error when learning to forage wild food. This walk will empower you to gather free food for life, future proof your family and enjoy super local and healthy ingredients. We also cover health benefits and medicinal properties.
After a comprehensive introduction at the starting point of the walk, we then embark on a gentle stroll along the River Ouse footpath where you will 'meet' the plants, get to have a nibble and learn how to best harvest and process them for optimum health benefits!

Affordable
Affordable
We believe this education should be accessible and aim to price to cover our costs and pay our taxes but also be affordable to you. We are not grant funded though so please don't expect us to compete with free temporary initiatives using public money. Many of our own Teach Foraging students charge more than we do. Di's belief is that learning to forage should be affordable so our walks start from £21 p.p for a group booking.

We have stood the test of time. Established in 2006 we are nearly 20 years old! We have survived pandemics and recessions and are still here. Read our reviews as testimony to how hard we work to keep you happy! Others have come and gone but we are still strong through our professionalism, quality of service for the price, and resilience.

Support Female-Led Independent Small Business.
Wild Harvest was set up by a single mum of three... slowly building a business around her children, without any help. No grants, no Daddy's purse strings - just hard work and dedication and determination to provide affordable sustainable education.
-
Reliable - Book Us and We WILL Be There!
Over all our time we have not cancelled a single session. If we commit to being there we will be there. I cringe when I see other teaching businesses cancel for personal reasons regularly letting people down and I truly believe in honouring your booking with my effort to get us there.
