You can come to Wild Harvest and stay in a tipi, for two nights and two days for training, or we can come to you if you have a suitable venue, or even a large kitchen table.

Yes, we understand it feels like a lot in one go.  To make things easier you can pay in two interest free instalments of £600.  The training date is set when the final instalment is paid, then you are immediately added to the Tutors group and your date for training and starting is organised.  Please email us if you need to pay over three months (you can't train until it's paid off though).  Or if you want to crack on asap and pay in full via BACS.  [email protected]

Absolutely.  In fact, we encourage it.  We have a 100% turn up rate so we are reassured if you have someone you can share the training and the running of your business with, so that you can cover each other if needed.  There is no extra cost to do this with a friend.  

You will be running your own business and have the licence to offer Wild Harvest Activities, you cannot offer our combination of activities without stating they are Wild Harvest sessions, we in turn promote every Wild Harvest crafts session you run.  You get your own resources and can get your own direct customers.

There are no 'get out' fees.  We will also keep your area open for you to return to if no one else has taken it up in the meantime.  We understand sometimes other things need focus.  We do expect you to put effort up into building your business up though by advertising and working to promote the offering.

We teach you how to teach, we give you our lesson plans, and risk assessments for each craft, and walk you through each session step by step. 

We give you the facts about the materials and give you a tool kit to trouble shoot any session problems you may have.  

Remember to be an effective teacher, you only need to be one level above your learner.  All our crafts are kept simple for large groups.

We always say 'yes' if your activities are in keeping with Wild Harvest's ethos of natural materials, local materials, and no mechanisation.  So for eg. if you taught crochet or leatherwork, jewellery making or some of our tutors teach archery, first aid, or yoga and meditation too!

No, we teach you how to find venues to work from.  It can be useful if you have a venue, but it is not essential.  You would need to be a car driver and owner if you weren't teaching from a home based workshop.
